Accounting for Management is a comprehensive textbook designed especially for post graduate students of business management. S. Ramanathan is a visiting professor at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and Institute of Management Studies (Kanpur University). He has four decades of rich industry experience in reputed firms at top management positions, particularly in the area of financial management and accounts. He has previously worked as Auditor with Government of Madras (Chennai), Finance Controller with British India Corporation Ltd. (Kanpur), and Chief Executive with Cawnpore Sugar Works Ltd. (Kanpur), among others.
