著者について: 

Educated in Ireland, France, and the USA, Desmond M. Clarke taught in Ohio, Michigan, and Ireland, and was a Jean Monnet fellow at the European University Institute. He was the recipient of a Fulbright fellowship, and a CNRS visiting fellowship, having participated in joint research projects with the Ecoles normale superieur, Lyon and Paris. Clarke published widely on Irish constitutional law and human rights law. His other publications with OUP include The Equality of the Sexes: Three Feminist Texts of the Seventeenth Century (2013).
