Setsuko Toyama
(Co-author, English Time)
Setsuko Toyama is a very popular and respected teacher, teacher- trainer and presenter. She is the author of numerous ELT materials including the highly regarded English Time. Setsuko Toyama currently conducts courses on teaching English to children as a visiting professor at Keiwa College.
Ritsuko Nakata
(Co-author, Let's Go)
Ritsuko Nakata developed her own method, called the MAT (Model, Action, Talk) Method, which uses unique techniques to get students speaking in natural English, rather than just repeating. In 1991, she published a series of textbooks Let's Go, which is the most widely used series throughout Japan and Asia. Presently, she is an advisor to Bunri Elementary School English Department, and a specially appointed professor of Seibu Bunri University.
Kevin Churchley

Kevin has lived and worked in Japan for nearly twenty years. He has lots of experience teaching at kindergartens with large classes of young children and finding ways to engage young learners through story books, games and chants.
Barbara Hoskins Sakamoto
(Co-author, Let's Go)
Barbara Hoskins Sakamoto, co-author of Let's Go and a native Californian, earned her secondary English teaching certificate and her TEFL masters degree in the US. She has taught English and ESL in the US, and EFL in Japan for more than 23 years. 17 of those years have also been spent working on Let's Go. She now lives in Fukuoka.
Kaj Schwermer

Kaj Schwermer has been teaching young learners in Japan for 10 years. He owns and teaches at Eureka Learning Studio, an English school for kids in Osaka. His presentations are always energetic and filled with fun and useful ideas for helping kids learn.
